Can therapy help after a traumatic birth?

Yes. Many women experience anxiety, intrusive memories, panic, guilt, or emotional numbness following a difficult or traumatic birth.

Birth trauma therapy can help you process what happened, reduce overwhelming symptoms, and regain a sense of safety and control.

I offer trauma-focused therapy in Bristol to support recovery after birth.

Do you offer in-person or online sessions?

I offer face-face therapy in Bristol as well as online sessions for clients across the UK

How much does therapy cost?

The fee for each session is £110. Some insurance policies are accepted, including AVIVA and AXA. I am also registered with some Bristol based EAP programmes. Please ask about others.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, everything discussed in therapy is confidential. However, there are some exceptions: if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if disclosure is required by law (e.g., safeguarding concerns, court orders). I comply with GDPR regulations to ensure your personal data is handled securely and responsibly. This includes storing session notes safely and only collecting necessary information. If you have any questions about how your data is managed, I am happy to discuss this with you.
